There's No Place Like Home

Well we followed the road and looked for our own
"No Place Like Home" and we found it !
We bought a home in Canyon Hills.
Its a new home development and its called a new " Smart
Living Home" We got solar panels and the homes are developed with lots of "green features" to keep living expenses low...well lower.
Sparky Mark reports our electric meter will run backwards. I can't even imagine but I trust the Doctor of Electricity. We are looking forward to building the next chapter of our life in this home and great neighborhood.
We have a beautiful community pool ,clubhouse and gorgeous neighborhood with Danielle and Mat Dwelley right around the corner. We and can't wait to
welcome our family and friends into our home.
Temecula has been a beautiful blessing.
One of God's most beautiful places, and where we started our marriage,
but Canyon Hills is calling and a toy room for those grandchildren...
I mean an office for Mark : )
Move in is set for June. We know time will fly . This week they laid our foundation. We feel like a young couple buying our first home, out taking pictures and despite the age on our Drivers licence we almost pass for that young couple from 1976. Well in our hearts !

Princess Aurora's Shower

Saturday afternoon Carissa's Mom and Mom -in -Law hosted a beautiful Tea-Party for Carissa and Baby Aurora. Lori did an awesome job with all the extra special touches to make this a very special day for Carissa. Carissa's mother prepared all the food with help from Carissa and Madeline. Leslie is David's Mom and she and her sisters and daughter helped set up and prepare their home for the party. Lots of family was there and everyone pitched in to help out. Beautiful tea sets, fresh flowers and delicious food carefully prepared and was perfect. Chicken salad, little sandwiches, stuffed petite tomato's, fresh fruit kabobs, and awesome dessert selections. Baby Aurora received many cute outfits and items every princess needs. She will be a well dressed young baby. We can't wait to give this special little baby a royal welcome !

The Wild Adventures of Grandpa and James

James and Grandpa set out on an adventure to the Wild Animal Park. James was the first mate and gave directions to Grandpa as to where to go and what to see.

After arriving they ran down the check list

-Camera- Check, Hat- Check, Pacy-Check, Blanket-Check

Grandpa's Mountain Dew -Check Check

Ducks Located -Check

Ducks Feed-Check

Giraffe Hugged-Check

Many more adventures that day but as you can see Grandpa and James both survived.
Grandpa was a a little tired and had chocolate ice ceam on his shirt which he reported to have fed James...a likely story !!

Saturday Sunshine-Family -Friends & Food =HAPPY !!

Saturdays are always welcome at our house. This particular Saturday Katie and her family were down for a visit, always a great reason to get together. We got to enjoy Miss Avennly at one of her softball games. Not only does she look like a beauty but she plays like a champ and always has that sweet smile. So much fun watching her play . An added bonus was that her other Grandmother Stephanie, Daddy Justin and Jo were their to love and support her. It was a beautiful day in Southern California. Red Robin was our next stop with super yummy hamburgers.
Love those special warm wonderful Saturdays of creating lasting memories.

Justin Puts Another Candle On His Birthday Cake

Birthday means cakes, confetti, candles, birthday means games and cards, birthday means tons of good wishes, birthday means fun.

Always a Wenning Time

I continue to count my blessing that I am able to spend special time with each of our children and their families. This week was the Wenning Week. Cammy is always busy teaching all those sweet little children to Croc and Rock with Miss Cammy. This day however she was free and got to enjoy a movie with me. We saw Alice In Wonderland. All the kids loved it and even little Cambel did a great job of watching. If you have any Renouf in you -it is required that you love love love movies. After a fun movie we met up with Able to enjoy a Mexican dinner at one of Cammy's favorite place since it was her birthday that week. It is wonderful watching the way the kids interact with each others and watch out for each other. Always a Wenn Wenn with the Wennings.

Getting Ready For Our New Granddaughter

Spending time with Cariss and James helping prepare for our new granddaughter was a real treat. Big Brother James really enjoyed helping shop for material for sister and his talented Mom is making a quilt for Aurora. Colors were carefully checked and picked with love to wrap this new bundle of joy in. Carissa looks fantastic, doctor says the baby is healthy, Daddy keeps working hard to take care of his family and James enjoyed a ride on Grandpa's shoulders after a delicious meal at Red Robin.

Happenings With The Henao's

As you can see lots of thing happen on days that Nonnie visits. Actually all these families run at a hectic pace keeping the grand kids, happy , healthy, involved in church, sports and community. It is a treat for me when I get a sneak peek into their lives. I always love my time with them. this trip McKenna got her eyebrows threaded. She was brave and they looked super. Alex and Courtney's girls were blessed to have well caterpillar eyebrows. : ) We also went to my all time favorite party store in Downey- Alin Party and the restored Bob's Big Boy for a delicious HAMBURGER.
