MARSHMELLOW !!!!!!!

This is the campfire story Katie told..
The headless body was carried around the campground and the code word of the trip was
MARSHMALLOW'S !!!
Once upon a time, there was a little baby girl who was camping with her family.
They were about to eat S'mores-when suddenly-there was a terrible accident, and
her head fell off!!! Now, every night when the sun goes down-if you listen
quietly-You can hear the little girl walking through the campsites (insert scary
steps here), and saying, "Marshmallow! Marshmallow!" If you leave a marshmallow outside of your tent she will take it and pass your tent over for a marshmallows haunting !

After all...How would you feel if you didn't get a S'more? ;)

Surf Camp 2012

A picture is worth a thousand words but these pictures tell a weekend story of 2012 Camp Surf. It's a lot of pictures but I want to remember each one forever.  It really was a fun fun trip.  It took lots of teamwork and family unity to pull this off. I am so grateful for families that understand what working together means.  Each person brought their unique talents and abilities to the activity.  From, booking reservations, family funding, first aid care, art tables, salt water corn pots, helping others get up on surf  boards and boogie board, dutch oven peach cobbler, last minute runs for ice, buns, hair braiding, sand castle building, mini gymnastics clinics on the beach, extra help serving and cleaning up dinner and breakfast, running the smore table, helping clean up camp every night down to last car departing ....I could go on and on and I hope that each person that went felt they were loved and added depth and value to our family relationship.  We are so blessed by an abundance of beautiful things .  Enjoying the creations that our Heavenly Father created for our joy is incredible in nature.
We love all the extra arms to offer love, care and  tenderness to family.
We hope too continue renewing our relationships as often as possible. A special thank you to Grandpa Mark for helping to make this special weekend happen.
We are ever grateful for families and the great plan of joy and happiness for each and everyone of us.
Our Heaven Father blesses us greatly and in turn we are to bless others.
I hope everyone left this weekend with a greater love, respect and appreciation for our families and our Father in Heavens' gifts to us.
