The 2011 Grandkids Academy Awards Ceremony was the one of the best attended awards events of the year. Great steps were taken to keep the paparazzi at bay but a few pictures have made it into the mainstream media.
The category had many deserving nominees and some big winners , as the best were recognized as Best Grandchildren and Honorary Grandchildren at
this years event. We had some stars who unable to attend due to prior obligations on a movie shoot out of state but we will be holding a satellite broadcast from that area and will bring you up to the minute details on that upcoming event as the news breaks. We had several award recipients and they represented the best of the best in the grandhildren category. The Director and Producer of this Event reported they had great talent to work with and with a wide range of grandchildren located through all the world the decisions were difficult but those honored were very deserving of these prestigious awards.
After the red carpet arrival, the stars were whisked off to a private pool party .
Back on location they enjoyed a private screening of The Diary Of A Wimpy Kid-Rodrick Rules.
They were treated to a gourmet snack bar with out of this world pizza, magical blue popcorn,
sugar confections and hand dipped ice cream.
Following the movie the Director and Producer retired for the evening and the elite stars continued on to many after parties filled with gaming, networking and enjoying the comfort suite until the wee hours of the morning.
We have been asked to respect the privacy of the stars not report the morning after details especially pictures.
Needless to say it was a stellar event and the starts are looking forward to brilliant careers as grandchildren.
