We had a wonderful party hosed by The Henao Family
Alex set up a great dance area in the back yard, DJ, firepit, Disco ball. It was perfect everyone went out and danced their little hearts out. Now last night was one of the coldest nights this year so several
dancing stayed inside for the Dance Party 4 jam. The House was decorated so festive for a New Years Party. Our family does know how to throw one heck of a fun party.
Everyone pitched in so we could have BBQ Carne Asada. Special thanks to Ramon, Luz , Alex and Courtney for putting that together. Everyone brought delicious munchies. Observation #1 .
We always have more then enough food to go around. We enjoy blessing of such abundance.
We were treated to the never ending energy of our youth. Kenzie was the Birthday girl of the evening and we got to watch some adorable video's of her and it included lots of young little families enjoying life on Glencliff in Downey. Observation #2 The past is the past but tears flow freely about time and memories gone by.
Generations loved that home in Downey, my grandparents, my parents, me, our children, our grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and tons of friends. Glencliff is an important part of the Renouf Family History.
Observation #3 Home is where family is. Yes, it is sad to see days gone by but the good news is that no matter where we go , where we end up, the love of family and friends just goes right along with us.
Observation # 4 By Dec . 31st we are all tired. Gathering official pictures on News Eve is well challenging at best. I think we are all pictures out by the last day of the year. So pictures don't include half of the guest, or the delicious food served or even the emotions that were felt but we were all happy to be together. Observation #5 New people, new beginnings, new chances , new ideas, new perspectives and new directions aren't such a bad thing. We can embrace our differences, our uniqueness and still celebrate
the greatest gift of all. The gift of love, family and friends.
We are grateful for the blessings of 2012
and look forward to 2013!
I got a few more pictures to add to Wrap It Up !
